Subfame
Subfame is an electronic music project built around ideas rather than genres.
Some tracks start with a feeling, others with a sound, a technical experiment, a coded message or simply a question of “what happens if…?”. Ambient, synths, industrial textures, strange rhythms and cinematic spaces can all end up in the same place.
There is no fixed formula and no real interest in having one. If an idea works … it becomes a track.

Where forgotten melodies rise again.
We dig up old songs, questionable ideas and musical leftovers, bolt a completely unnecessary beat underneath and send the result back out into the world.
Expect Eurodance, EDM, party music, bad taste, excessive drops and occasional offences against musical decency. A lost bet is always good for a song, too.
No masterpieces were probably mangled in the process. We make our brains glow for the lyrics; for the music, we use everything we can get our hands on: keyboards, drums, MIDI, with and without cat synthesizers and plenty of AI tools. Oh! And claves! We love claves! Nobody can hear them, but who cares? =)
Then everything is refined in one or two DAWs into a listening experience unlike any other. (That last sentence was great, right?!?)

Windmill Productions takes its name from the old windmill near the entrance to the neighbourhood in Soest where the project started.
The name is the roof. The music underneath it may change. Subfame is where ideas become electronic experiments. The Discount Graveyard is where forgotten melodies return with a completely unnecessary beat.
